Primarily we collect personal information when you provide it to us by interacting with our App and website when listing a property, searching our listings, using our contact form or just generally when you look around the App or website. We also collect personal information through general business operations such as when we:
• interact with stakeholders and suppliers
• respond to general business enquiries
• undertake recruitment activities
• resolve complaints
• search public records.

What personal information do we collect?
The information we collect will depend on your reason for interacting with us. Through our App or website, we may collect the following information:
• contact information (name, address, email address, telephone number).
• driver license or other identifying document (and the personal information included on such documentation)
• profile photo or image
• if you are listing a property for sale – your property details including address, purchase price, purchase date, reserve price/sale price, rental yield, photographs and floor plans, proof of ownership (e.g. rates notice, title document – note these documents may include identifiers)
• if you are enquiring about or buying a property advertised on our App and/or website – your budget, search area, preapproval letter
• login details and passwords.

For what purposes do we use personal information?
We will only use the information provided for the purposes for which it was collected unless you have consented to us using, or would reasonably expect us to use, the information for a different purpose (such as normal business activities, invoicing etc) or as required or permitted by law. You expressly consent to our use of your personal information to share a successful outcome resulting from the use of our App including via our social media accounts. If we are ever involved in a transaction such as a restructure, merger, sale or acquisition we may disclose your personal information to another relevant party on a confidential basis for due diligence purposes.
Your contact details, including email address, may be added to our mailing list and used for direct marketing purposes. We will provide an unsubscribe or opt out facility.

With whom do we share information?
Personal information collected will only be disclosed to our stakeholders, personnel, contractors, suppliers, service providers, business partners, recruiters, referees, property sellers (or their agents) or buyers or others as you would reasonably expect for the above (or related) purposes and only otherwise disclosed as required or permitted by law.
We are not likely to disclose your personal information overseas unless you have listed a property for sale and an enquiry is made from overseas or a potential purchaser is located overseas. It is not possible to specify the countries where the recipients of information may be located.

Social Networking

If you communicate with us through a social networking service such as Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, the social network provider and its partners may collect and hold your personal information, and this may be overseas. This is not controlled by us, and you should review their privacy policies.

How to Delete Your Facebook Data in the Artis App?

Facebook shares your name and email address to assist in creating your account profile on our app.

  1. Access the “More” Section: Start by opening the Artis app on your device At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find a navigation bar. Tap on the “More” option located within this bar. This step is essential to access account-related settings.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings: Once you’re in the “More” section,croll or navigate until you find the “Account Settings” option. This section contains various settings related to your Artis account, including your [Facebook, Google, and Apple] social login options.
  3. Initiate Account Deletion: Within “Account Settings,” you will discover an option labeled “Delete Account.” Tap on this option to initiate the account deletion process.
  4. Confirmation: After selecting “Delete Account,” the app will ask you to confirm your decision. This step is crucial to prevent accidental account deletions. Confirm your intention to proceed with the deletion.
  5. By following these steps, you are taking the necessary actions to delete your account in the Artis app. Please note that the deletion process may also involve scheduling the removal of your user data, including any data associated with your [Facebook, Google, and Apple] social login, from our servers. This helps ensure that your personal information is no longer retained in our systems.
